7.

Today we celebrate 7 years together as husband and wife. It's been a low key Sunday as usual-church in the a.m., leftovers for lunch, then hanging out and resting this afternoon. Tonight we are going to "Singspiration" at our church-a time for people to get together and sing hymns with the piano, folllowed by ice cream of course. But there is joy in just resting and being together as a family.

Besides we did get to celebrate Friday night, just the two of us. We had dinner at Crawford's dowtown Sioux Falls, walked around for a while, then ended up here for some good dessert, live music, and conversation. It was a great night! We grabbed a movie and picked up the kids by 9:00.

It's been a great journey filled with different homes, jobs and 3 beautiful children, and though the process seems slow and isn't always easy, I know our marriage has brought me closer to God. I look forward to what the next 7 years will bring.

"Loving a person just the way they are, it's no small thing

It takes some time to see things through

Sometimes things change, sometimes we're waiting

We need grace either way"
